How Canadian cops deal with road rage.
I’ll tell you exactly why these people are mad: they are sitting in traffic on Highway 11 on a long weekend in summer trying to get to their Muskoka cottage. This means they have already spent two hours in this clusterfuck of cars and it’s already 3pm on Friday. Susan said they should have left at 9am, but noooooo, Jim had to go into the office for a meeting this morning before they left which, in reality, no one else showed up to because they were packing up their beer and kids and dog and shit to come sit in traffic with the rest of these sorry motherfuckers. Now they won’t make it to the cottage until 6pm and they haven’t even stopped at Loblaws/Superstore/Sobeys to get food for the weekend. What’s worse…. Jim was being too much of a lazy asshole to go to the LCBO Thursday night so now they won’t even be able to grab booze before that closes and it wouldn’t even really matter because nearly all the LCBOs in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge will have been cleaned out their preferred brands. The best they can hope for now is getting some Coke and juice for the hard liquor that is probably in one of the cabinets at the cottage (unless they drank that all with their friends on the July 1st long weekend). Jim and Susan now have to top it off by sitting in a car together for hours on end listening to the same songs on 104.5 or 99.9 until you start to lose the radio signal around Orillia and have to switch to the shitty cottage country radio station that plays mostly soft rock. But its the fucking cottage and, as Canadians, they’ll be damned if they don’t go spend every single weekend there from May to August, no matter their moods, alcohol supply or weather.

My European Studies professor decided a few weeks ago to take a Friday and instead of following the syllabus, he spent the entire hour and a half comparing Hitler’s actions from a European perspective to that of what Trump is doing in America. He never repeated a single point, and even used video and photos like this to show the comparison.
To make things better, he had us do an in class assignment for participation points. He first played a clip on youtube of one of Hilter’s speeches, subtitled and 3 minutes long. He then played a clip of one of Trump’s rallies. Our assignment? Copy down every single sentence that matched in translation down on a sheet of paper or a word document that wasn’t repeated. The person with the closest amount to what my professor found got a candy bar.
My professor found, in just three minutes of a speech, that Trump matched 65 different phrases/sentences to that of Hitler’s translation.
65 nearly identical phrases used in his speeches. Take a moment to think about that.
